19th-Century French, Zinc Finials

From an estate in the northeastern Champagne region of France, these graceful c. 1830 zinc finials were most likely created as replacements for the estate’s original 18th-century carved stone finials.  The beautifully weathered zinc of these nearly 200-year-old ornaments constitutes a large part of their appeal and is consistent with age and use. These 19th-century French Finials are sold as a pair.
